It is with great sadness that I must report Pow Chu Moy, founder of HeadWize (the first headphone forum) and creator of the Chu Moy Headphone Amplifier, passed away in Reno, NV, on February 12, 2016.

His passing warrants a worthy memorial.

On December 9, 2011, the long-time electrostatic headphone maker, Stax, was purchased by Chinese speaker maker, Edifier Technology, for just over $1.5 million. Looked at another way, you could buy 288 SR-009 headphones ... or the company.

Don't flinch, I think we better get used to Chinese owners.
